The Infamous Masterson’s , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I found behind its entrance was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The Condition of the Premises : Filthy and Abandoned
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floorboards were filthy, and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell.
